Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Stafff. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
Draft for the pre-launch period. The published version (signed off by counsel) will replace this before the first paying customer is onboarded. If you need a signed DPA or BAA today, email adminstafffai@gmail.com.
1. The service
Stafff is a software-as-a-service platform that provides AI chatbot and voice agent infrastructure for businesses. You configure Stafff agents that answer your customers' calls, messages, and DMs across supported channels.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older and authorized to bind the entity you represent. You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and any activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Stafff to:
- Send spam, send messages outside applicable legal calling windows, or violate TCPA or other communications laws.
- Impersonate another business or individual.
- Capture, process, or transmit PHI on a non-HIPAA tier.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass our security controls.
4. Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance for the chosen tier. Metered overage (voice minutes, messages above quota) is billed in arrears at the rates published in your dashboard. All fees are in USD unless otherwise noted. You can cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
If you exceed quotas, Stafff will continue to operate and charge overage at the published rate — you'll see alerts at 50%, 80%, and 100% of quota in your dashboard.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the knowledge sources, conversation history, and customer data you bring to Stafff. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service. We do not use your content to train shared models.
6. Availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the dashboard and chat runtime, and 99.5% for the voice runtime (which depends on Vapi.ai). The Scale tier carries a contractual SLA with credit remedies; other tiers carry the targets above on a best-effort basis.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend the service for unpaid invoices, abuse, or material breach. On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted.
8. Warranties + liability
The service is provided 'as is'. Our liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware (US) for US Customers and Ireland for EU Customers. Disputes go to binding arbitration in the respective jurisdiction unless prohibited by law.
